Renewable Energy Sector Solar Farm - Coleambally NSW 2018.

We were tasked to backfill HV cable trenches Southern NSW Solar Farm.

Our Stone Slinger method has many advantages over using sand trailers, excavators or truck mounted conveyor systems on Solar Farms and Wind Farms.

With a 6m boom, 40 metres of reach and the remote control operator looking directly into the trench, our Stone Slinger can comfortably double output with less personnel.

On this Solar Farm we were laying 100mm of bedding sand at a rate of 16km/day with just one person operating the Stone Slinger and no need for an observer or anyone in the trench. We also completed 300mm site soil lifts at a rate of 5.5km’s/day. The finish was so smooth, no raking was required!

This extraordinary productivity is unrivalled in the Renewable Energy industry and represented a significant step change in productivity for our client.

Our Stone Slinger unit is small enough to fit between solar array piles and agile enough to handle the slopes associated with Wind Farms.
