We utilised our TR20 stone slinger (also known as rock slinger) on this project in Hurstville NSW.
A geo fabric liner was installed above the subgrade. We placed 400 Tonnes of 20mm sandstone mix over the liner.
A rock drain running the length of the batter servicing existing infrastructure meant access for traditional means would have caused damage to the rock drain.
Our TR20 stone slinger (also known as rock slinger) was able to place material quickly and evenly over the top of the drain with no damage or modification to existing infrastructure.
Material was delivered using 10-wheel bogies. An excavator already onsite was used to load our TR20 stone slinger (also known as rock slinger)
Our skilled operator was able to place material evenly and smoothly, placing a uniform layer across the geo fabric liner.
Placement was completed within 8 hours.
When large quantities of material are required up to 100t per hour is easily achievable on these types of projects.
