In February 2019 one of our Stone Slingers was tasked to assist with the landscaping of the new Western Sydney Stadium.
The Western Sydney Stadium had a number of raised areas where access was blocked by retaining walls.
Accessing these areas by non Stone Slinger means would have been slow, difficult and potentially damaging to the existing walls.
Our Stone Slinger placed material with ease behind the walls. The finish was smooth, even and required minimal final trimming. The areas were to become raised turfed areas and garden beds. The Stone Slinger methodology meant that the soil was less compacted and therefore more conducive to rapid vegetation establishment.
In these situations our Stone Slinger can place up to 800 tonnes per day.
